Goal
Our mission was to assist a company already established in mainland Tanzania in expanding its operations to Zanzibar. Understanding the need for tailored guidance on the distinct labor laws and HR issues prevalent in Zanzibar, our goal was to ensure a smooth transition for the company while adhering to the legal requirements of both regions.
Approach
We embarked on a comprehensive analysis of the labor laws and HR regulations specific to Zanzibar, identifying key differences and nuances compared to mainland Tanzania. Through collaborative discussions with the company’s stakeholders, we formulated a tailored approach to address the unique challenges and opportunities presented by the expansion, encompassing compliance strategies, HR policies, and legal frameworks specific to the Zanzibar context.
